John Walker born in Wigtown, Scotland married Katherine Rutherford bornJanuary 7, 1702 in Schotland. He transfereed his family and settled in Chester Co.Pa. where he died in 1734 his wife died in 1738, both are bured inNottingham Meeting House in Chester Penn. Most of thier family left PA. and settled in Rockbridge cou. VA. andandjoining counties. John Walker contemplated such a move and had been in VA. a short timeprevious to his death and selected a farm which her erected a smallbuilding.
