Note: I had preciously listed Barbary's name as "Barbary Tennison Scott"because it is that way in hand written records from my grandmother ClaraDeVries and on some historical documents at Rootsweb.com BUT According toNewton Burch, whom I consider to be the closest thing to an expert wehave on the Burch lineage: "barbary's maiden name was Tennison; hersister married John Scott. This is well documented now by Ralph Smith inhis excellent book on the Tennison family."
