Note: "A Chancery Court Record Liber P.L. Folio 104 gives the deposition of Sarah PEREGOY age 42 years. She states that her father Edward MUMFORD told her 30 years ago about the boundaries of a piece of land 'Spring Neck' he had taken up at the first boundary of William Pearles land, 50 acres. This deposition is dated January 3, 1714, dating Sarah Mumford's birth year as 1672."

Note: 33. Sarah MUMFORD/MAUNFORD b. 22 Apr 1671, England, Ref #: XXX, d. Abt 1721, Baltimore Co, MD. We know Sarah's father was an Edward Mumford. If this is the correct Edward is not proven. I have not found any link to Mary Watkins. Need more input here. === NOTE === The exact marriage date of Joseph and Sarah is not known, nor are the exact years of their children s births. Different researchers come up with other years for same, but they are all in the same general time frame. This is the start of the Peregoy/Pedigo family as we know it today in America. We need a good preamble here. Lacking one at the moment. I will quote John Paul Grady, 29 Oct. 1962. "The manuscript Peregoy - Perrigo - Pedigo is NOT intended to be a genealogy, but only a condensed outline, which we are continually amending as we uncover additional data and new evidence"

Sarah married Joseph Pedigo\Peregoy\Peregois\Perigord I on 16 Feb 1689 in Baltimore, Baltimore, MD. (Joseph Pedigo\Peregoy\Peregois\Perigord I was born about 1665 in France, died in 1716 in Baltimore, Baltimore, MD ²⁹ and was buried in MD.)
